All you wanted to know and MORE!

This little list circulated ALL OVER Facebook, and I caved and finally did it last night. I had a pretty good time doing it and thinking back through my life and things people might not know about me. If you want to go ahead and do it yourself! Here you go!

1. When I was little, I watched the show, 'The Secret World of Alex Mack' on Nickelodeon and WISHED so badly for her powers. I thought it was esp. cool that she could turn the light off with a point of a finger.

2. I have a birth mark on my calf that is red and looks like a lobster.

3.I don't like it when people ask what my favorite movie is. It is too hard.

4. There are about 150 people on this planet that know me better as Liberty.

5. My favorite job I have ever had was working as a computer lab consultant.

6. I am obsessed with WAY too many TV shows that I would actually admit to.
7. I always like going to the dentist.

8. My one regret so far is that I never stuck with anything! When I was younger, I took violin lessons, ice skating, piano, dance, acting classes, and I didn't grow up being good at any of them! I wish I had a 'talent' that is I guess visible like those are.

9.I am more sensitive than people think I am.

10. I like everything in its place and for things to be put away and clean. Some of my pet peeves- Cupboard doors or drawers left open, when there is still time left on the microwave and nobody clears it.

11. I want to travel the world with Zack.

12. My favorite age I have been so far is 17. If I could go back and live through it again, I honestly think I would, and not change a thing.

13. When I was little, all I wanted to was to be the lead in Hillcrest's Musical. I was in the chorus twice, but never the star!

14. I played with Barbies and Fisher-Price people till I was probably 13. I don't care if you think it is lame, I was CREATIVE as heck!

15. I HATE calling people on the phone that I don't know. Even ordering pizza- I HATE it.

16. I have a ridiculously long torso. We can play the wall game if you don't believe me.

17. I love musicals. When we are older and can afford it, I want to have season tickets to a theater company of sorts.

18. I didn't realize till I dated Zack that rolls (bread) are my favorite food. I love them and can eat WAY too many of them.

19. I am so proud of myself that I will graduate from college in May.

20. My music tastes would seem to shift to the guys I dated. I always seemed to pick up what they like because I like everything, and I am grateful for that and what they introduced me too.

21. I was born in St. Louis Missouri and I wonder all the time how my life would be if I had not moved here when I was 5. I wonder how my life would have turned out.

22. I love to surprise people.

23. I want to own a boat some day and also a cabin and go there in the summers with my family and spend weeks at a time there. I think that would be amazing.

24.I love having 5 minutes of fame. If I knew I would have made it onto a crowd shot of american idol I would have gone out for it! I loved being on the news in high school for random things etc. Ha ha.

25. This was hard for me to fill out! I guess lastly, I hate when stores put holiday things out before they need to. I like holidays to have their time. Aka- I hate that right after Halloween the Christmas decorations are out and now I can find a few Easter things as well.

26. I added one more!! I HATED being engaged probably more than any other time in my life. So for all of you who told me to enjoy it, I'm sorry, it didnt work. I am so happy it is over. It was awful.

27. Ha! Now that i'm done it is easier to think of more- I hate sauce!! Ketchup, mustard, barbeque, sweet and sour, most dressings, etc. I like things PLAIN as PLAIN can be.

Family Home Evening

So, in an effort to be a better person, I made a goal when Zack and I got married to try to have some kind of family home evening with each other. Since I was the youngest in my family and many of my older siblings were involved in sports, school things, etc. the harder it got to hold family home evening. Especially when it was just my parents and I at home. So, I am not totally used to the whole lesson, thought, song, scripture thing.

It can get a bit awkward with just two of you and the 'regular church answers' asked to each other. I was wondering what any of you do for family home evening at your house! Throw some ideas our way! Thanks!

13 going on 23

Another year has passed me by! Time goes by so fast, you don't know what hit you half of the time. I do feel that I have had quite the productive year. Lots of big and exciting changes and more fun than I could have imagined. It has been a good one. Here are a few pictures of the celebration!

Zack and I with my Birthday Cake.

They couldn't have sat me in a more appropriate booth. We didn't even ask!

Me and Zack out to lunch at Los Hermanos. It was delish!

Just a few of the goods I made it away with!

I told them all to smile and this is what I got. I love my fam. I told them this was going on the blog whether they liked it or not. This explains them well.

Me and some of the Oakcrest girls who graciously turned our hang out party into my Birthday bash! Thanks Jahuga and to all the girls who could come! It made my day, love you!

After hanging with the girls while Zack worked hard for the money, I came home to these!! So beautiful. Thanks Babe, I love you more than I can put to words :)

Husband Tag!!!

1) Where did you meet? Hillcrest High School, soph. year
2) How long did you date before you got married? We dated from December 2007 until we got engaged in July of 2008so 6.5?? In my defense of our short courtship, we did know each other for 6 years before. So our first date could be like date 12 in other ways.
3) How long have you been married? Ha ha ha, 3 weeks! Gotta start somewhere.
4) What is your favorite feature of his? His eyes.
5) What is your favorite quality of his? His dedication to his schoolwork.
6) Does he have a nickname for you? Honey, Ems
7) What is his favorite food? He loves chimichangas and churros and loves symphony bars
8) What is his favorite sport? He loves college football
9) When and where was your first kiss? January 3rd, in his red civic in my parent's driveway.
10) What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Eat food or creative desserts, play games
11) Do you have any children? Nope and we plan to keep it that way for a bit.
12) Does he have a hidden talent? It isn't like it is particularly hidden, but he is an AMAZING pianist and not many people know that or even more that have ever heard him.
13) How old is he? 23
14) Who said "I love you" first? He did :)
15) What is his favorite type of music? He likes all sorts. One thing I really like about Zack is that if he hears a song that he likes, it doesn't matter who it is by, he likes it without shame. His newest addition? One by the Pussycat Dolls. Ha ha. But he says his favorite band is Angels and Airwaves.
16) What do you admire the most about him? His ambition and hard work to never give up on something he really wants. He is not easily discouraged.
17) Do you think he will read this? Yes. He loves to hear what I say about him. He keeps peeking over my shoulder as I do it now.

Kick it or Keep it?

For my birthday, my Mom got me some throw pillows to help accessorize our bed. I really like all of them but one of them will have to go. I really can't decide on my own which I like best, so I will put up the pictures and have you decide for yourself.

Or if you can think of another arrangement besides the 2 I have shown, please let me know what you think might work better!

Get your votes in!! Thanks.

Oh, and birthday pictures and happenings to come soon!

Projects for the Home

I have been busy but not too busy to not be up to some good old craftiness! I wanted some things to put above our cabinets in the kitchen, so I bought some letters and I painted them to match my very RED and yellow kitchen. I sanded the edges of the letters and then I painted them and I bought some ribbon and some sticky 'pearls' and 'rhinestones' to embellish them with. I really like how they turned out! I think I will also get H O M E to put on the cabinets along the other wall. But there you go!

Our Home

I know, it has been such a long while since I blogged, but we have been pretty busy since the big wedding! For those of you wondering, the wedding could not have been more perfect. It was a beautiful winter day, I loved my dress, my flowers, my hair, and Zack looked soo good :) The sealing was great and it was so fun to have all of our close family and friends. The luncheon at Braza Grill was delicious!! I loved it all and thanks to our families for the cute little basket/stories you put together for us, I loved it! The reception was so much fun! Thanks to everyone who could come! It could not have gone better!

Since our fabulous honeymoon to Disneyland, we moved into our apartment in Provo, Zack started a new semester at school, and I have began my student teaching at Timpview High School. So lots of things have changed!

Here is are some pictures of our new little apartment. It has been so much fun to decorate it and make it 'our own'. It is small but we like it. So far so good :) I'll be better at posting now, promise!
