Here is what it looks like when you walk into the door! My mom made the curtains, ottoman cover and the amazing quilt that hangs behind the rocking chair. She did an amazing job.
Here is a closer view of the crib and the artwork that I did above. I really love the colors I chose and I think they tie in nicely together.
We don't have room to have a dresser for James (we would but I wasn't willing to give up space for my sewing machine and serger) so we make do with the boxes under the changing table for now!
And here is a closer view of the quilt. I picked out the pattern and told my mom the colors I would like it in. She was left to pick out all the fabric herself and she did a wonderful job. Mom, thanks so much for everything you do for me and my little family!! I know this quilt will be something James can keep forever and remember his grandma made for him!
I have lots and LOTS more to blog about (mainly things about James) and I'm way behind on blogging but we've been loving that little guy too much and trying to get a handle on managing two kids! Stay tuned :)
