After dinner the party moved over to the Wilk where we went bowling! It was a smaller group, but was great because we could all share a lane!
Here's the gang- Me and Zack, Rob and Anna Paulsen and Ben with his fiancee Natalie (minus Shauna and Roger). Fortunately for all of our pride, nobody was that great of a bowler, and we all did pretty horrible together. Rob is the only one who was able to break 100! Guess we need to form a league and go more often! One of my favorite parts of bowling is having everyone get a 'bowling name'-it's more fun that way! Here are some of the names with our scores. I bowled an 89.
After bowling we headed back to our house and we had a bunch of friends come over. We had cake and ice cream with your choice of root beer float, creamsicle float or sherbet float. I am bummed that I didn't take a single picture of all the friends that came over, but we had a great time.
Saturday besides getting the usual errands run, I also helped in throwing a 'Going Away/Birthday party' for my friend and old roommate Kortney. She has a accepted a position working in HR for Exxon Mobile. She is moving to Houston, Texas on Thursday and we will miss her! Her birthday is Feb. 4th so we thought we would get in one last hurrah before she left us for good!
Here is Kort with her adorable cupcake cake (yes, I made it). She blew those candles out in no time! Must be all those years of practice!
Me, Kort, Kristen, Janae and Ali! We all met up at Utah State.
I love you Kort! Zack and I are going to miss you! We wish you the best of luck on your new adventures in Texas! And who knows, maybe in a year, we will be out there to join you!
Sounds VERY fun!!!! I love party weekends. Glad you enjoyed it!!!
