Graduates

This past Tuesday I graduated from the Wilton Course 1 cake decorating class!  Along with me were my friends Shauna and Rachel.  We had a great time laughing and visiting during our 2 hour class.  We learned a lot of great skills including, but not limited to: correct icing consistency, star tip decorating, round tip writing, piping gel pattern transfers, flowers and figures, shell borders, drop flowers and the Wilton rose.  It was a lot of fun, and I plan to take the next classes soon!  Here is a pictures of my final cake!  I love the spring colors!

Festival of Colors!

This Saturday was the Festival of Colors.  The Festival of Colors is the celebration of the arrival of Spring. They have it every year in Spanish Fork at the Radha Krishna Temple.  Basically all the college age kids in Utah County go and the event is PACKED!!  Everywhere you look people are covered in a variety of colors from head to toe!  By the end of the event, you can't even tell who is who anymore.

They had a band playing music, a bonfire, llamas, and bags of color for sale to throw on whoever you want!  Unfortunately by the time Zack and I made it there they were sold out of colors, so we didn't get to throw it on anyone but we did get PLENTY thrown onto us.

 Here is the temple.
And here we are covered in colors.  Mind you, when we started this even our shirts were white!  We had a great time!

It totally makes up for my non-TiVo life. Do you hulu?

Word Verification

I usually HATE word verification (do I have that on my blog for people who comment?? I really don't know). ANYWAY its just annoying to always have to type some silly weird word in order to place your comment.

This morning, however, I quite enjoyed it. The word you might ask? Dammet. Ha ha ha. Yep, it made me smile.

TGIF everyone!! Here's to a great weekend :)

LUCKY

How great does this cake look?! Ok ok....so I'm a little biased of course but I was very pleased with how it turned out! This month I am taking a Wilton cake decorating class with my friend Shauna- we are having a great time! This is the cake I made this week. It is very pretty not to mention delicious! This week our 'test' was to do a star tip cake.

In other photos, here is a picture of my March decor. I made the plaque the other day with my sisters at a craft day. We had a great time. Notice my rolo candy. It is supposed to be gold . Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

Troop Beverly Hills

This movie was on TV this morning and I couldn't have been happier!
My sister and I would watch this movie all the time when we were little.
As I watched I reminiced about being 11 and watching it all snuggled up on my parent's couch and also regretting not buying and girl scout cookies this year!
What were some of your favorite movies as a kid?

In front of that are the file folder for every class-where I pass back assignments

This bulletin board is for my SOS Class. SOS stands for 'Students Offering Service'.
This class is basically a semester long service learning class where they make and donate their projects.
There are lots of things missing but here are a few ideas of what the 7th graders are up to!

Love Today

My Valentines present came today!!!!!  Better late than never right?  In Zack's defense he ordered it at the end of January HOPING the '"expect 3-4 weeks for delivery" to be a lie, but they were true to their word!  I love it and can't wait to sport it everywhere I go!  Thanks babe!  I love you so much!

Here I am wearing it already!  I love it!
